Prices

National averages are misleading. The cost to replace a roof in New York City is vastly different from the cost in rural Ohio, even if the material price is identical. The difference lies in the Local Labor Factor.
RoofingData.us tracks real-time labor rates, permit fees, and disposal costs for over 600 U.S. markets. Select your state below to view city-specific data.

Our reports are not random estimates. We combine three datasets to generate our “Net Cost” matrix:

BLS Labor Rates: Bureau of Labor Statistics hourly wage data for Roofers (Code 47-2181).
Regional CPI: Consumer Price Index adjustments for material shipping.
Local Codes: Mandatory add-ons for Ice Shield (North) or Hurricane Clips (Coast).
